Youth2019 -event in Turku 27.-28.3.19

Youth2019  event in Turku 27.-28.3.2019

Every two years Allianssi gathers our national partners and organises a large scale conference for the entire youth work field, involving Finnish youth workers, youth organisations, youth researchers and decision-makers.

The two day programme consists of a wide variety of current topics in youth work and gathers about 1000 Finnish youth workers  to discuss, evaluate, innovate and develop the work among young people. The next conference "Youth 2019", will be held 27.-28.3.2019 in Turku.

This time we will provide also  seminar programme in English, enabling the international organisations and youth workers to learn more about the Finnish youth work, to share best practices, experiences and youth work methods, discuss and network with Finnish and other European colleagues. We aim at deepening co-operation and developing new projects and ideas within the field.

The English programme will include an update on current European issues such as European Solidarity Corps  and other important topics such as social inclusion, youth work innovations, youth participation and advocacy, youth research etc.

We are happy to invite international participants to meet Finnish youth workers in "Youth 2019" conference and  share the best youth work practices. The event is open for anyone working with young people whether it is in an organisation, municipality, government, parish, school, youth house or research institute. The event will be an excellent chance to network, learn about the latest youth work trends and innovations as well as to share your best practices.

In addition to the two day conference the international participants will visit some unique examples of local youth work and have one optional day in the end to evaluate the event together as well as discuss the dissemination and future co-operation possibilities.

You can register to the event here. The registration fee 110 / 130 euros includes the conference program. The participants cover the meals and accommodation themselves. On the registration page you can find information on accommodation options.
